BMW M3 is a respectable race car, other than participating in DTM, we can also see the BMW teams bringing their M3 to other major championship races around the world. The round 6 of DTM was held at the legendary Nuerburgring over the weekend. The 49 laps of the 3.629 kilometres long Eifel circuit was attended by 89,000 die-heart fans. Bruno Spengler with his BWM M3 DTM was the first to cross the finish line. This is his second win of the season.
Round 5 of 2012 Super GT was held last weekend at Suzuka, Japan. This 1,000kms (173 laps of the 5.807km circuit) round was extremely challenging for the GT drivers, as the temperatures on the car was up to 60 Celcius! Imagine driving in that condition for almost 6 hours (2-3 hours for each driver), that was quite a feat.

The ADAC Masters Weekend was held on the Red Bull Ring in Austria last weekend (10th to 12th August). The event was supported by 9,700 GT racing fans. Both race 1 and race 2 were dominated by Porsche 911 GT3 Rs, the best results for others makes was Ford GT GT3, taking third place in race 2.
