To many racing fans over the world, the Le Mans 24 hours is one of the most anticipated event of the year. The race was held in Le Mans, France on 16th June 2012. The two Ferraris 458 Italia by Team AF Course and Luxury Racing won the top GT class (GTE-Pro) of this year’s event. For the prototype class (LMP1), Audi is the overall winner with first and second place by Audi R18. It is also noteworthy that the Audi R18 is the first hybrid powered vehicle to finish on the podium.
